TOPIC: Taking on Wisconsin’s Sustainability Issues the Nonpartisan Way

Tom Stolp is the Field Director for the Milwaukee Office of the League of Conservation Voters. Tom joined the League in 2008 as the Western Wisconsin Organizer based in Eau Claire. That same year, he also founded Green Drinks Eau Claire! Now, as Field Director (based out of Milwaukee), Tom oversees efforts statewide to engage citizens, develop leaders, and strengthen the grassroots of Wisconsin’s conservation movement. Tom trains citizens on new engagement tactics, identifies and builds relationships with the always growing number of conservation voters, and helps constituents hold their legislators accountable. Tom leads our efforts to connect one-on-one with the people that Wisconsin’s conservation success is built upon.

In Tom’s words: “I’m a conservation voter because no other organization is more committed to the idea that natural resources should be free from partisan politics. As a conservation voter, I get to work with citizens across this great state who are passionate about creating solutions to the challenges we face.”
